Please join us for the 17th Anniversary of the Toshiba Celebrity Golf Classic on Monday, August 18th, 2008, at Copper Creek Golf Club in Kleinburg, ON.

This year the Classic  will benefit The James Fund for Neuroblastoma Research at SickKids in Toronto.  Neuroblastoma is a horrific childhood cancer affecting the central nervous system that claims one child every 14 hours in Canada and the USA.  There are not enough children fighting neuroblastoma to attract the attention of pharmaceutical companies, consequently the mortality rate has remained at 85% for 30 years.  It has been left to the neuroblastoma families and their supporters to take matters into their own hands and raise awareness, and funds, to save their children.  With the support of families, friends, corporate donors, and now the Toshiba Celebrity Golf Classic and you, The James Fund has become Canada’s leading force in the global fight against neuroblastoma.

**Proceeds will be donated to research for Neuroblastoma cancer in kids through The James Fund, along with a $10,000 donation to Bloorview Kids Rehab “Susan Brower Independence Award”, which will enable two young adults with disabilities to attend The Independence Program (TIP) and learn valuable independence skills that will help them to defy disability, and reach their full potential in life.Thank you again, on behalf of the kids!
